The Performance Program at performers collective prepares learners in instrumental/vocal performance across western contemporary (rock, pop jazz etc), western classical and Indian classical forms of music and dance.
Performance training is currently available in the following disciplines:
Western Contemporary : Piano | Drums | Acoustic Guitar | Electric Guitar | Bass | E.Keyboards | Vocals
Western Classical : Guitar | Violin | Piano | Vocals
Indian Classical : Vocals | Tabla | Kathak
It covers all essential aspects of performance training including posture, technique, styles, music reading, improvisation and repertoire building from beginner to advanced levels.
All western music students attend an additional theory lesson per week apart from their practical lesson.
Learners are encouraged to participate in the various live concerts organised by the school around the year. The school also organises workshops by eminent personalities from the field of music for the benefit of its students.
The school also prepares, those who choose to, for music exams (grade and diplomas) conducted by various international exam boards such as Rockschool London, Trinity College London, Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and Prayag Sangeet Samiti Allahabad.
